THE BIFFSHARES 200 CLUB

The Biffshares 200 Club was the brainchild of Aprille Bonner who had the vision to recognise that by creating a Lottery with a chance to win, members of the Federation would have a fun vehicle to support the Federation’s work financially.

The Lottery was launched at Conference in Bournemouth in October 2006 and the first draw took place in November of that year. Membership has remained steady into the second year, just commenced

It has been pleasing to distribute Prizes totalling £1,350 during the first year 2007, including the extra annual bonus draw of £300 which took place at Conference 2007 in Market Bosworth.

Even more, funds have been generated for Five grants amounting to £1,000, announced by our Chairman at Bosworth Hall Hotel in October.

Aprille’s vision was to meet her target of 200 members and provide a sustained source of funds to support the Federation. Prizes, bonus draws and further grants will be made at similar levels to the first year during 2008.
