Hastings Musical Festival began in 1908, and this year we are celebrating a bumper year with 3094 entries! We cover all areas of the Performing Arts with a large variety of classes for Dance, Singing, Speech, Drama and Mime, and Instrumental music. We are thrilled that we can hold our festival in the lovely setting of the White Rock Theatre, which gives our performers the chance to appear on a professional stage, with the support of a great stage crew and technicians. This year we have again received sponsorship from Kawai Pianos, which means that our pianists will have the opportunity to play on a beautiful grand piano. We open our festival on March 2nd with our Pop Vocal Classes, adjudicated by Ben Costello. Throughout the rest of the festival we are delighted to welcome Jacqueline Robyn Hadlow Moore, Dr Warwick Potter, Kenneth Roberts, Maria Jagusz and Peter Dayson as our adjudicators. Our closing night is on 26th March when we will welcome 14 choirs to join us for an wonderful evening of song.
