Festival Details

Hong Kong Schools Music Festival and Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival take place annually during the months of February-March and November-December. The Festivals lay a foundation in music and speech for Hong Kong students and youngsters with potential in these fields. The Festivals also raise their performing standard. Certificates, pennants, trophies and scholarships are awarded. Some of the past participants are now prominent figures in the local and the international arts scenes.

The two Festivals are organized by the Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Association, a non-profit making organization founded in 1940.

Due to coronavirus, the two Festivals have been conducted by Video Submission Mode since 2020 with the support from adjudicators worldwide.
