Access to the BIFF website - As a BIFF adjudicator you will have access to the Members’ section of our website, which includes our Member Resources, which offer extensive guidance on adjudicating at BIFF festivals.

CPD Training - All BIFF members have access to CPD training as part of their professional training. By committing to producing a gold standard of adjudicators for our festivals, we encourage our members to stay at the forefront of innovation. Our CPD programmes offer members opportunities to enhance their knowledge, skills and understanding of emerging practices to ensure that we remain relevant, accessible, and impactful for the festival community.

Annual Conference - All members are invited to attend the BIFF Annual Conference. The conference is held in a different part of the country each year and gives members a chance to meet up and network, share ideas and updates on the festival movement, and take part in an educational and entertaining weekend programme of talks, keynote speakers and sessions.

Regional / Forum meetings - All BIFF members are invited to attend Forum meetings held within their region / country. These meetings are held both face to face and online and provide an opportunity to connect with festivals and network with other adjudicators in your area.

Access to Regional Championships - All member festivals can enter performers into the BIFF Regional Championships during the years they are run. Adjudicators are invited to attend this event, which is of a very high standard.

Social media - BIFF is active on social media. We invite all members to follow the BIFF pages on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, where we actively share and collaborate on posts, events, tips and news. We regularly feature festivals and adjudicators through video and written interviews, and our ‘#FeatureFriday’ posts.

Monthly newsletters and updates - Our monthly newsletters keep our membership updated with important news and information relevant to BIFF and the festival movement.
Membership gives you security through:

Terms and Conditions of Membership
All members are required to sign the Effective Adjudication – Code of Practice which sets down the principles associated with effective adjudication.
There is an annual membership subscription fee to the Federation. Membership runs from January to December each year.
