Perform in Perth offers competitions in Music, Dance, Speech and Drama, in a number of venues across Perth.
We offer 'Early Bird' reductions for all entries created by 4 December 2026. We also offer financial assistance to schools in rural Perth & Kinross, for school ensembles of 15 and over.
There are competitions for practically every combination of voices and instruments. Our dance weekend is largely non-competitive, with dancers receiving grades rather than marks.
In addition to general music, both instrumental and vocal, plus English poetry and prose, we offer a full series of Scottish traditional classes, ranging from Gaelic speech and singing, Scottish Country Dancing, Scots poetry, Scots fiddle and piano and a comprehensive group of classes for piping and pipe band drumming.
