Ryton & District Music Festival ( including Speech)

Established in 1935, we are a friendly festival that has seventeen 3 hour sessions of music, speech and drama. We begin on Feb 25th - Feb 28th with a variety of music classes. Music classes continue on Wed 11th  March and finish on Sat 14th March.  In between these two long weekends, we have 4 sessions of speech and drama on Fri and Sat 6th and 7th March. We have a new class this year - The Jennifer Reid Memorial Class for pianists. This class is in memory of our former official accompanist and Vice President, Jennifer Reid. We attract performers from all over the North East of England and Cumbria.
